Croatian Prime Minister says his government has forced Hungary to allow the entry of new migrants on its territory, after sealing its border with Serbia this week.
There is an agreement with Hungary to accept refugees on its border with Croatia, said Zoran Milanovic the Saturday, but “we made them accept refugees sending people there,” and “continue to do so”.
Croatia said Friday he was overwhelmed by the arrival of thousands of people in a few days, noting that him send to Slovenia and Hungary. Migrants came to Croatia on Wednesday after being rejected in Hungary.
Most migrants fleeing war or poverty want to move on to the rich countries of Western Europe such as Germany and Sweden.
